What's that funny shining globe in the sky.....ooh the sun, we had nearly a full day of sunshine I it will last.  The course is still recovering from the last months deluges lets hope the Greenstaff get a good run of warm dry weather to be able work their magic and give us the best course possible.


My partners today were Andy McLaren and Dave Johnson, I thank them for their company.

BBQ

May I say thank you for your wonderful support, 138 members and guests, had a fantastic evening and who were entertained by the Revolvers who kept the dance floor full until 1230.

My special thanks goes to Howard and Christine for organising a really great evening.

There was also the 200 club draw the pics of which are at the end of the BBQ pics. The megga draw was drawn by two visiting members from our sister course in Australia many thanks to John and Rita Wake I hope they enjoy the rest of their visit.

 

Captains Charity Comp

Thanks to my paying partner Tony Anderson and our playing partners Tony Stiles and Matt Adam, we had the best of the weather but not the best of the scoring....better luck next time.

Also a masive thank you to Sheila and Gill for selling cakes we hope you all enjoyed them.

All in aid of Factor 50, mine and Lady Captains chosen charity this year a massive thank you to all who donated the day raised around £800.

Presentation Evening

This evening we presented the 3rd, 4th and 5th Captain's Qualifiers, the Assistant pro's comp and 5/6 day members Captain's Prize.
